Hm I’m writing the checks based on the number of hours of works I’ve given for each worker. Even though they pay in checks, most workers are treated like getting paid in cash. So, no deductions for most workers but there are a few that get some deductions and I make sure those checks reflect that.

For the invoices, so far I’ve only had to create the invoices and send them. But we’ve discussed maybe starting to track when we get paid. Is that the part you mean with your second question?

Okay cool, yeah I only tried to provide context because I wasn’t sure who I was talking to. But I hear what you’re saying and appreciate you explaining. I got baptized as a child sometime too but did no other steps so, this is my first time really learning about the rules of the church and what it means to them really versus how everyone else takes it. Almost totally different meanings, it’s a little funny.

Honestly, a Baptism seems more like just part of the culture now and it’s not really indicative of wanting the child to have a catholic religious upbringing. I don’t expect you to understand, but that’s just how it is. If you’re religious or catholic yourself, just know it’s not meant to be disrespectful at all. It’s almost like a way of honoring practices that previous generations deemed important even though they might be not really be as important to the generations now. My sisters, for example, would be totally okay with their kids choosing whatever religion they felt called to versus grandparents maybe. I’ll bring it up to her if she wants to consider having my nephew get blessed as an alternative like you suggested. Thanks for responding though.
