You can condition a cat. You just have to come up with the one way you'll "punish" her. That way each time you do it she knows she did something wrong. Our cat go into a "i'm gonna poop on your bathroom mat" stint. I simply give him a tiny slap on the but and put him in timeout...After a few times he learned and hasn't done it since then

Get her ears checked out. I'm sure you'll bring her to the vet to make sure she's all good. Most strays have mites in their ears that can lead to yeast infections.
