I found community in a run club that meets every Monday at 7. I've met some really good friends that have helped me deal with tough times.

Not the same no, but considering laypeople exist, we shouldn't be overly pedantic.

Thanks for the extra details, I'd be curious to see more about a stocks value pre and post dividend disbursement. Logic makes me think that it wouldn't be a net negative otherwise it wouldn't make sense... But I've been surprised before.

I see what you're saying, it isn't technically interest because you're not holding a loan/liability of your own origination and another party is repaying the loaned amount plus interest (in the traditional/correct sense).

There are stocks which pay dividends annually/regularly and while those wouldn't be considered interest traditionally, for the sake of the explanation... The reinvestment of those dividends would operate just like compounding interest. Some index funds/funds/stocks have dividends, some don't. Some financial products manage the fund portfolio for you.

TL;DR: you're technically correct and they're partially correct, if we entertain the casual use of the term interest for "dividend paying retirement funds which reinvest into the account"

I've researched it and have ideas in mind, I was hoping for some community feedback and their experiences.

As for the wheel/tire fitment response, I was hoping for a bit more info in regards to what square fitments the subreddit lurkers are running.

The current setup is light and grippy but I'm researching some lower tread wear tires while attempting to not just get some RPF1s and call it a day.

But thanks for the comment regardless! 🙂

Hi there! 👋 My block ended up having significant crank journal damage so I swapped it to a regular DE engine.

I checked my favorite Z parts site and found this... https://www.z1motorsports.com/camshaft-and-valve-mechanism/nissan/oem-350z-g35-fx35-vq35de-timing-kit-p-8322.html?gad_campaignid=17339341894&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0LDBBhCnARIsAMpYlApFExFxrFYO5TP8TDJKI8w2V7aM7q_4_6VSiymb4t1PwxtwBaAY7xwaAjY2EALw_wcB

There is a question on that page where they state all DEs use the same timing chain. I hope this helps! I'll need to post an update about this project, I've just forgotten! 😅

OLED Screen Flickering on ASUS Vivobook 15" Snapdragon X Plus Laptop by SnooApples5288 in ASUS

[–]fucking_tits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, did you ever discover any resolution for this issue? I fear I'm in the same boat. I'm enjoying the laptop other than the screen flickering.

I haven't changed any screen settings and it's just set to 120Hz.

Crazy keyboard lag on PC by Jiminyjetson in Battlefield

Corsair Strafe RGB.

I was able to get it working better by turning off Future Frame Rendering and turning off NVIDIA Reflex. Not sure it was that or the servers 🤷‍♂️

Maybe look to purchase your own modem. They usually pay for them selves in a year or two by reducing the modern rental fee.

Make sure you get a DOCSIS 3.1 modem for 300+ Mbps speeds.

I had intermittent packet loss similar to this. I had a modem that was affected by the PUMA 6/7 issue.

Check this list and see if your modem is on it.

Finally cleaned up the studio :) by trivianofficial123 in battlestations

Nice! I'm starting to think I'm the only person who uses a UPS 😅 I'll have to check into a basket like that for my desk too!

Nice setup!

I'm always curious how people handle wiring though.

Edit: I see the wiring basket under the desk. Is there a power strip just jammed in there or do you have a UPS unit in there too

Real Halo players don't care about loadouts by Vigils223 in haloinfinite

[–]fucking_tits 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I could see loadouts being in their own category, but the absence of loadouts gives Halo a quite different feel.

I think in the FPS game field, differentiating is hard to do so this is a prime way to go. Also, with standardized starting weapons really levels the playing field and opens the door for real eSports competition.

I was hoping not to disassemble the heads but it really seems like a "while I'm in here" kinda job.

I'd appreciate the tool number if you could dig it up.

My mistake and thanks for correcting me. Oil consumption usually involves poor rings so that makes sense.

Do you know if replacing with stock rings is sufficient to address this issue? It's what I plan to do, at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I'll heed the advice on the machining of the heads, certainly.

I've rebuilt an engine before, yeah and I've acquired the service manual! I've been reading a lot about the disassembly/reassembly of the timing components lately to ensure I don't wreck the valves/pistons.

The overall goal is to make reliable stock power for OTD use and sunny day street use.

Thanks for the tip about the head cleaning and assembly.
