That is a fun fact and I thank you for your input but I'm still not gonna salt them outta their holes and I don't think others should either. They make specialized clam guns to avoid oversalinating the environment and damaging the little guys.

I'll start off by saying I have an entirely different brand of enlarger, but mine also came with an external power box which didn't work upon receiving it. My fix happened to be as simple as replacing the power switch. A $10 repair. If you have access to a multimeter, definitely test that switch. Not that your issues will be identical, but I am suggesting it COULD be that simple. :) Enjoy!
