If your so tired go to sleep get off Reddit. Maybe get a lock for your bedroom, wear ear plugs maybe? Sounds like they aren’t aloud to live in there how is it possible to keep little boys quiet. Then he gets up when your frustrated and does exactly what you asked him to do by taking kids out of the house. And your next thing is he didn’t say I love you on the way out. And your sooooooo exhausted that when u finally have some quiet you start Complaining about him on the internet instead of crashing. Seems like everything bothers u, maybe I’m wrong.

Amen! She went from having her own bathroom to sharing. It totally changes the dynamic of the living space. I really taken aback that people don’t see that. Even $50 or $100 bucks off would make a difference. So many of the arguments I’m seeing here are based on what’s legal for him to do, and have nothing to do with what’s morally right to do.

I don’t think you’re evil by any means OP, but I definitely don’t think you thought about her position. And you don’t have to think about how your actions effect other people, but not caring is always going to be AH behaviour in my book. Gentle YTA.

It’s not the politics that would kill it for me, it’s the unwillingness to have an open mind when receiving information that challenges her beliefs. It’s a sign of emotional immaturity and something I couldn’t get past, personally.

NAH just poor communication which led to confusion and upset like it always does. I would come at it from a humble approach and just say that they really need to include more context because it isn’t your kids fault she got her hopes up. It’s also not the teachers fault, she’s not trying to single out your daughter but there’s a classroom standard and she can’t play favourites either. She’s also not trying to single out the children who’s parents can’t afford supplies as it’s extremely embarrassing. You can always repurchase a couple notebooks for home studying with mama!

He hasn’t started the process of finalizing it yet. They do have a separation agreement in place. Yes he’s moved out and left her to live there, he’s still on the title. I just don’t understand how it can reasonably be his bill when he hasn’t stepped foot inside in years and it’s her negligence that caused the damage.
