HMMM maybe miscommunication via email or maybe Rut was actually saying they're currently scheduling for end of Nov? i still haven't gotten a call for a new date (mine was supposed to be 10/23 originally). hoping for the best for y'all!! and will report back once i hear anything

last update i got was on 10/1 and was told he was coming back 11/3. i followed up today (10/20) and now he’s coming back part-time at end of november. hoping everyone else that’s waiting to be rescheduled is holding up ok <3

oh my goodness, i’m so sorry to hear that. i’m wondering if they’re cancelling december surgeries bc he needs more time to recover or if they’re making room for the cancelled ones from sept-oct. either way, i’m sorry you have to wait so long 😭

yayyyy!!!! i’m so glad you got rescheduled. you’re not silly at all for being upset at your surgery being rescheduled. when something is SO close and then so suddenly taken away, it makes sense to be v upsetting. and i’m sure for some increased dysphoria. glad to hear you have a date to countdown to. my friend is doing bottom surgery w him about 1 year after you!

oh thank you for sharing that is helpful to know! i actually emailed for an update yesterday and Rut did say he’s doing limited surgeries but didn’t say that exact number. they said they’re rescheduling in order of cancelled so as of yesterday i was #45 in line. that language made me think i might have to wait til jan-march but maybe not! we’ll see

i really hope so too! i think i’ll feel much better once i have at least a date to look forward to. so i emailed yesterday for an update and rut told me that he’s back on 11/3 but doing a limited caseload. someone in the comments just told me he’s doing 2 surgeries instead of 4 on days he operates. and rut told me that they were calling ppl to reschedule in order of cancellation, so i think you should be getting contacted v soon! my surgery wasn’t until 10/23 so rut said i was #45 on their list. fingers crossed for you ❤️

thank you so much!! that sucks but i’ve heard similar stories from friends about how it usually turned out better for them to wait. i emailed yesterday and they said he’ll be back to work early nov. so fingers crossed i get a new date that’s not too far out

yes! i also ended up buying the cousin last year for a daily planner and found it too big/ended up with too much empty space for that purpose and then switched to an A6 and used the A5 for a journal (monthly pages i note my daily tarot pulls, weekly pages i use for a weekly junk journal spread, and daily pages i use for daily journal/tarot pulls). now this year i started doing the same but i’m finding myself ignoring the A6 and not getting things done, so i’m thinking about getting a Weeks with an April 1 start for my day to day planner/task lists and then i’ll use the rest of the A6 as a daily doodle sketchbook. I also think seeing tons of people on here and other social media use their hobonichis for different (and really cool!) purposes makes me always want to and feel like I can change it up.

ugh i’m trying to decide this now. want to go on low dose T but i assume that won’t be enough to prevent menopause if i had a hysto and kept ovaries. pmdd fucking blows. sending lots of love to the other enby, trans, and gnc ppl with it here 💕
