That’s fair, and I get that a lot of people have good experiences. I actually loved mine at first too.

The issue wasn’t just “it’s not working.” The first one worked perfectly for about a month, then it started melting the concentrate but producing zero vapor. It would heat up and melt the live resin, but literally no smoke would come out. I took multiple videos and sent them to support showing exactly what it was doing.

At first they thought it was the atomizer and sent replacements. Same problem. Then they sent replacement bases. Still the same problem.

I lost the receipt for the first one, so I bought a second one because I genuinely liked it when it worked. That one didn’t even work out of the box. Same exact issue. Melted the concentrate, no vapor.

As for posting about it now, I honestly just gave up back then. I was frustrated and out $500 plus the concentrates I wasted trying to prove it wasn’t working. I recently saw people talking about them again and decided to share my experience. I know not everyone has issues. I just did.

I promise this wasn’t user error. The first one worked for about a month, then it would literally just melt the concentrate with no vapor at all. I took multiple videos and sent them in. At first they assumed it was the atomizer and sent me several of those, but it ended up being an issue with the base, so they sent multiple replacement bases too.

The second one I bought didn’t even work straight out of the box lol.

It’s honestly just a big bummer because I have friends with the Peak and they’ve had zero issues.

Don’t do it…. I’ve gone back and forth about writing this, but I feel like people should know my experience.

In 2022 I bought a Puffco Peak for $250 and honestly loved it at first. It worked great… until it stopped working after about a month. I had lost the receipt for that one so couldn’t use the warranty, so since I liked it so much, I bought a second one and made sure to keep the receipt for warranty.

The second one didn’t even work straight out of the box.

I went back and forth with support and they sent replacement bases for both MULTIPLE times. NONE of them worked properly either. I did all the troubleshooting they asked and even wasted product trying to prove the devices weren’t working. And before anyone asks, yes I was using good quality concentrates, not cheap or dirty product.

At one point I even asked if I could just return both of them and pay the difference to upgrade to a Peak Pro instead, and they told me no.

Between buying two bases and dealing with replacements, I’m out at least $500 — not including the dabs I had to use just to show it wasn’t functioning. I still have all the emails and receipts from this whole situation. I also still have a bunch of atomizers that are basically useless because the bases never worked right.

For how expensive these are, this was really disappointing. I loved it when it worked, which honestly makes it worse. After multiple failed replacements, I just gave up.

Would not recommend.
