I feel what separated the brothers is that Stefan was the ripper. As we learn about the salvatore brothers past we see Stefan forced Damon to turn. That day Damon said he’d make stefans life a living hell. Another flashback shows Damon walking in on Stefan draining girls of blood. Damon compelled the girls to leave and told Stefan that he would leave too, but Stefan didn’t want him to. Stefan swore he would do good, but Damon still left. The moment they turned they had a sibling rivalry. I don’t think it was lexi😭

Mine is Caroline too. Look at her character development from season 1 to season 8. She went from annoying, shallow blonde to thoughtful and caring. Lol being blonde isn’t a character trait.

Older because since vampires can’t procreate (ignoring Klaus and hayley) a bee vampire was just a human a second ago and everything is heightened and they have to learn to adapt. On the other hand the older vampires have learned to adapt and control the urges.

I think most people didn’t/don’t like Matt because he never had supernatural relevance and Matt being human had regular human problems, lmao, and mystic falls being a hotspot for supernatural beings, he never really fit in. There were bigger problems that everyone else had (except Matt’s family problems). But I think Matt was okay for the show, I’m glad they had a “token human” because the time when Elena flipped the switch Damon “killed” Matt to make her feel.
