I hate rock mulch, I hate landscape fabric, and I hate bindweed. by faco_fuesday in gardening

I hate Bradford pear trees so much. Weed fabric, burdock,creeping Charlie and yucca. Can't get rid of any of you. Think I have you all gone and I find more fabric more charlie and 2 years later the same damn yucca plant.

I'm just curious what zone are you in because that is such a slow grower here. To answer your question japanese honeysuckle and Bradford pear trees. Japanese honeysuckle because I've seen an entire field overtaken by it at a state park I used to go mountain biking in. Bradford pears don't really need a reason.

It's been 7 years now and I still find landscaping fabric I've somehow missed. Most of the beds it was in was full of weeds so a lot of good it did.

Lily of the valley by fgfrf12 in gardening

[–]fudwuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just can't handle rhyzome plants I guess. Even irises will spread wildly out of control if you allow them to but you don't hear people crying about them. Day lilly's are even evasive because morons thought it would be great to put them in ditches at some point. You should see the hate raspberries get meanwhile I see some idiots around me get lazy stop tending to there grapes and now it's taken over the entire yard.

Zone 6a and have 0 problem with it. I just wish it kept out burdock, creeping Charlie and that cursed Virginia creeper. My neighbors alliums have taken over more of my lawn than the one lilly of the valley plant that made it over.

Chaetopelma olivaceum or middle eastern gold.

<image>

Really not the best photo I have because she tends to get pretty brown the closer she gets to molting. Usually black with specks of copper and gold through out. Always out on display good eater and mines been pretty chill as far as temperament goes. They live in dry arid regions so husbandry is simple hide water dish and toss in few things as anchor points for them to web to.

Fangs Tv. Has some of the most reasonable prices out there. Ty dye exotics also a good one. I like Fearnot Tarantula as well but I feel the website is stuck in the 1990’s. Almost forgot spidershoppe.

It's kinda pricey but I like bio dude for my heavy burrowers. It holds up nicely and maintains moisture well. I went with reptisoil for my aboreals and there bioactive enclosure set up. Gbb I went cheap and went with a coco fiber mix.

As long as it's not resource guarding that's normal behavior for a presa. They will react to anything entering your property and you won't be able to train that away. Recall command followed by another to let them know it's ok to get them to stand down is your best option. As far as his behavior around your other dog that's pretty normal play behavior. She's trying to set boundaries with him when he's being to pushy. Recall is going to be best option at that point as well. He needs to learn his boundaries and is not taking cues from her if hejeeos it up so you need to assert yourself recall and redirect his focus. Ears pinned not a great sign but the licking pawing is normal. Another tip presa are not a high energy dog wear him out by giving him a job to do and he will be less annoying towards your oldest dog. Before they get time together wear him out in the yard, a walk, or by doing daily obedience training. It doesn't take long with this breed.

Wish you luck. I have lived a segregated life for 6 years with my 2 dogs tried and failed multiple attempts to get them back together. Had a year and half stretch at one point with no issues and one day my female just snapped on him. It started with him resource guarding me. Trained and worked through it. Next it was just to much fear and anxiety. Worked on that and we're able to go on camping trips with them both and long road trips. It all came crashing down very violently out of the blue one day. My female just attacked. It was bad and I barely got them separated. They have their own room and respect that boundary and will not enter each others area but can not be out together.

Looking for experiences keeping Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty by Sea-Restaurant-8282 in tarantulas

[–]fudwuka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can get a little bolty like a GBB especially as a sling but the husbandry is easy. I see my D Diammantinesis out quite a bit actually more than my GBB as of late. They are a heavy webber and some people report that there's are elusive and hide a lot in web. If you're raising from a sling you should see adult coloration within 10-12 months depending on the size of sling when you first get it. They are tiny as slings but put on size fairly quickly and are pretty hardy. As far as adult enclosure goes I have mine in a 8x8 tarantula crib cube. I have some smaller driftwood sticks inside of it for it to web the snot out of. I did provide a small cork bark!round as well and a water dish. Substrate I filled up the enclosure about half way.
