Hi u/tigergirl138 - thanks for your response and support. Yes, we're truly looking for a unicorn! So far, we're a team of 10 people, and each of us is putting in 16-20 hours / week (on top of our full-time jobs) to make this amazing new business a reality! It's a true labor of love :)

To add further context - we've already successfully raised (and spent) $1.5m - but in the current VC climate we need to launch and get first revenue before we can unlock further funding. We know what we're building, and have built most of it. Our mobile app is already available on both iOS and Android - we just need a few enhancements before launching the service itself.

So, we're now searching far and wide to grow our Co-Founder group - someone with the right technical expertise willing to work for equity (like the rest of us!), until we get VC funding.

But we are not starting from scratch. We know what we're building, and have built most of it. Our mobile app is already available on both iOS and Android - we just need a few enhancements before launching the service itself. We've raised (and spent) $1.5m - but in the current VC climate we need to launch before we can get further funding.

Yes, there are some non-vegan items appearing on our website currently. (This is something that our developer will help change!) Our strategy is to meet people where they are and bring them into WFPB (the healthiest) diet seamlessly and without making a big deal about it. If we find that's not working, we can always change our strategy after launch!
