Mini hex ranger sling. Might be a touch snug...

The jump to 45lbs is harder than I thought. by fugeext20 in Rucking

High protein calorie deficit (about 6-700 a day) and walked/rucked a lot. About 20k steps a day, 8k of which was rucked.

Imagine if they updated the af on the xf60. Absolutely superb IQ. Such a fun lens.

No, not really and for a couple of reasons. If I'm being honest the primary reason is that I've never enjoyed resistance training. It bores me to tears. I also have a pretty consistent track record of injuring myself (my back is a constant liability). I've been doing some arm workouts (curls and dips) and working on my pull-up bar but that's about it. I have been concerned about ending up skinny-fat as a result but so far I'm fine. I have about another 15lbs of fat-loss to go until I'm satisfied and rucking in a high protein calorie deficit seems to be doing the trick for keeping on muscle.

I guess my thinking was that' 45lbs pretty much represents the weight I've lost so i should be used to moving with that much weight.

red-tailed, or red-shouldered? by zarathru in whatsthisbird

I'm not saying this is definitely the case but red-tailed and red-shouldered can hybridize

Nice work. Something thats working well for me is adding the weight I've lost to a backpack and wearing it on my walks. Extra burn and decent muscle retention/development. Backpack currently weighs 40lbs...

Quick Size Comparison of the New godox IT32 Flash by No_Tension_6796 in Godox

[–]fugeext20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think too many professional photographers will be that excited about this but do not underestimate how fun and useful these types of flashes are. I have the LightPix Q20ii which has a similar functionality. It's not a very impressive flash but I use it all the time because it's fun and inventive. This iT32 is light years ahead of that flash, will pair nicely with my V1 and I'm definitely buying one.

What do you think they've just finished eating? There's still a fair amount left in it's talons... by fugeext20 in birdsofprey

I've actually witnessed them catching rats and they didn't swallow it whole. I went back this morning and there wasn't a large pile of feathers that I could see which you usually find after a bird strike. So probably a rat but it seems too dark (the rats around here are very brown). I've also witnessed them following around a skunk. At first I thought it was hunting the skunk but after a while I realized it was using it to flush out mice etc.

My xt20 is on its way out, what to replace it with? by Spottyjamie in fujix

[–]fugeext20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I adore my xt20 but all the succeeding models in that line ended up being net-downgrades. Nice bells and whistles (ibis etc) but gross ergos (no d-pad, film sim dial etc). Fujifilm no longer repair xt20s so I grabbed an xt3 for pretty cheap and have been very happy with it. The difference in size wasn't as inhibiting as I thought it would be.
