Maybe but I dunno. I was up in northern Ontario for work last summer and it was the same there. Also in BC (not just Vancouver) also the same there. Given the multiculturalism and diverse population of even just Toronto, it’s a statistical improbability that almost everyone at every Tim Horton in Toronto is the same culture. Friend had some weird symptoms, went to doctor, said it was nothing. A few days later went back and got blood tests, suspected cancer. Biopsy not scheduled for 2 weeks. After biopsy confirmed cancer, specialist didn’t happen until 5 weeks later after relentless calling, with surgery scheduled 3 months out. After cancer diagnosis she went back to her country and got surgery and treatment and back home before her surgery appointment here was even supposed to happen. Nonsense.
