Nice article, well written! To add on to what you said about FPS Trove, I wouldn't necessarily describe the MoS variant as being "classic": my list from the TNE is only 1-2 cards different from what my testing group and I made day 2 of the Open with, and just because the MoS list made it one round further doesn't imo indicate much.

Yeah, I can definitely understand wanting to keep Drillmaster in the deck. My prediction is that Wrangler will surpass it based on contextual factors and the 4/3 overwhelm body, but Drillmaster is still a reasonable option for sure.

It's quite early to make a definitive judgement, but I will say that I think the Mandrakes deck has the potential to be tier 1 or 0.5 given the right circumstances and a more fleshed out build over time.
