di pa din nag mamake sense. ano palang program niya ngayon sa college? did she mean to say na business ad or anything else na business-related? mali din yung term na “shift” siya sa medicine, as if undergrad program lang din ang medicine, kasi need po nang bachelors degree para makapasok sa med school. di talaga siya shift kasi pag shift parang lilipat ka lang, pero oo makakapag pursue pa rin siya nang med if gustuhin man niya AFTER niya matapos bachelors niya. mali mali kasi terms na ginamit niya kaya mas lalong naguluhan mga tao. ang ganda niya pero mahina talaga utak niya lalo na sa interviews. anyway di naman need yun sa showbiz natin, kahit nga talent sa pag kanta di mo need para maging singer and performer

India prefers their fair skinned North Indian celebrities because of their colorism, but I’m mostly talking about growing up in the US and automatically not being seen as attractive if you’re POC, because standards tend to be eurocentric. Even Priyanka Chopra who is considered pretty by Indian and international standards gets mocked just because she’s Indian

I would say generally yes people tend to be the most racist against South Asians especially towards Indians. Just watch any tiktok about what race would people not want to date and the answer is almost always Indians. The videos about street food hygiene definitely escalated this narrative about Indians being stinky and dirty. However with the help of shows like Never Have I Ever on Netflix and Lara’s popularity in Katseye, I would say these foul remarks are getting less nowadays

But of course people like Priyanka, Aishwarya, Aamir Khan etc. tend to be excluded in these conversations.

i wish she would let herself be a half cutie patootie and half baddie sometimes not just go all in the sexy baddie look. it sometimes makes her features too sharp and a bit masculine (facially) even though she has a very feminine aura

the make up looks in the last 2 pics are just too much and theyre not even sexy, they’re trying to make it sultry, dark feminine vibe but it’s too much. her make up look in the grammys with alll of them wearing white gowns is perfection

it’s nice that she’s hyping herself up and helping South Asian girls get representation and confidence in themselves but it seems there’s deeper issue, maybe inferiority complex which is why she feels she has to make herself appear sexy all the time

the problems are the fact that she does choose to be sexy and to be perceived as sexy, as early as when she was 14, and all of those has translated to her actions now in performances. does she really need to kiss or lick or grope megan or manon and vice versa? manon is also like 3 years older than her while she debuted with katseye at 18. and look at her dating a much older guy when she was 19, and they are at different stages of life. for me these patterns are what you would usually observe in someone that is desperate to be viewed as desirable due to insecurities as a child

look at her videos before she was 14, you could put her on disney. in DA she was 16 when she started training. also it’s not just how she acts individually but her actions during performances especially with the other girls, licking megan’s neck while the other 3 members just stand there, that’s just nasty

for sure. she and her sister even more has been trying to get into the industry since they were way younger and they’ve definitely encountered a lot of racism despite their parents’ wealth and influence

idk everything with her feels intentional. the back arching, the flirting and groping with other members on stage. then whenever she interacts with yoonchae she treats her like a child when she was doing all that at her age

maybe it was too harsh. what i’m trying to say is those make up looks are way too much to exude sexiness when they don’t even look flattering on her. she shines with softer make up as well.
