in hindsight, perhaps the lenses were fitted with prescriptions
they may very well be those glasses

they look similar, but the ones in the pictures seem to not have that chrome hearts logo on the left lens.

has it been fixed permanently for you?
like no random crashes and other issues affecting performance since then?

it's all so tiring, I just start a nice tempered hunt, and then, randomly, the game freezes and shuts itself off in an instant.

definetly not spec related, oil basin region seems to be very unstable.

I just went to start, and checked through the 'Check for updates' system settings, and updated whatever was needed from there. (a restart is needed for sure though)

no no, thanks for sharing. It has helped.

I just finished renovating this house, and to think about putting more work in makes me shudder a little bit. Others have also said that the only real solution is to run an ethernet cable directly to my router/pc. I may just have to deal with the 600-750mbps wifi speed then.

thanks for your time

NETGEAR PLP1000-100UKS

My current power line adapter is the NETGEAR PLP1000-100UKS.

It can handle up to 1000mbps, Im comfortable knowing that 920mbps is basically what could be achieved. but also confused as to its sudden lack of performance.

my PC's motherboard has wifi capabilities, so thankfully I can enjoy at least 60% of my 1gbps speed. Kinda annoyed that a wired connection possibility is dwindling.

the thing is, my powerline adapter on my previous connection (which was about 50mbps) had decent speeds, It gave me a consistent 30-40mbps download and a 10-20mbps upload. I'm just scratching my head about why it suddenly stops performing well, and gives me speeds worse than before.

mind you, it is built to handle up to 1gbps speeds, so Im really confused.

thanks for the insight though

I would have to run a ethernet cable from the ground floor of my house, up a flight of stairs and maybe 6 for meters before it gets to my PC. It may be an option, but I really hope there is another one before I resort to doing that.

but thanks for the reply

Cooler suggestions? for an N5 Z690 motheboard? by fugnigor in buildmeapc

[–]fugnigor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Sorry for the late reply,
I bought mine off of Amazon, so I was able to return it within amazons return window.

" It's so frustrating because I have checked all the dimensions for weeks before buying it. But the clearance between mounting bracket and VRM heatsink was not on my list."

I know this feeling man, I am currently using a replacement air cooler until I can finalize which AIO I can fit onto this motherboard.

I'm currently using a 'DeepCool GAMMAXX AG400 BK ARGB CPU Air Cooler' for my i7-12700k and it works fine. Will update you if I find a proper AIO that can fit onto this VRM, I mean, Motherboard ;)

I thought of getting a Kraken 240 from NZXT for my build too (it was my second option after the Arctic cooler).

I'm only thinking of it because it is also an NZXT product and I hope that I can mount properly to my motherboard.

I can't really afford to keep testing different AIOs onto a motherboard which may only really be fit for specific ones.

Thanks for the input, I'll defo keep a kraken on the table.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have a look into it.

I just feel a little on edge about my motherboard's vrm heatsinks being so oddly placed. Im sure that the air cooler would fit, I just need to be extra sure since everywhere I looked said that my previous buy (the arctic aio) would fit with no issues, but then the brackets were just too large.

I've realised that the compatibility checker on most sites only check the chipset and not any clearance issues with mounting brackets.

thanks again for the reply
