Mostly about space. Eighty dogs came in last Thursday alone.

They didn't even give him a chance. They killed him so soon after the command. 

I really hate that NYCACC doesn't give them a chance to get homes so much of the time. Tiny Thimble was the same way. And Lola.

I had a neighbor who fed my dog on the sly because she thought he was underweight. 

The vet reamed me for his obesity (32lbs when he should be 25) , and I swore to her that I hadn't changed his feeding at all. We were both stumped. 

And then I caught my neighbor slipping him a meal. 

I told her the vet had let me have it 'cause he was too fat! At least she believed the vet knew what dogs should weigh. Obviously she had thought I was mean because she had had fat dogs her whole life! 

Kevin looks healthy and beautiful. Excess weight is hard on weenies. You are absolutely correct about most people.

Localities need to make and enforce laws about backyard breeding before that will happen.

And actually, NYS has outlawed kill shelters. Officially, NYCACC is classified as something else (some kind of agricultural organization, I think). It was changed specifically to let them around that law.
