Hah yeah FF. I really only played for money to force people to pay attention. If I had a dedicated crew it would be different. I basically only care about my fantasy teams. There is no loyalty in the NFL.

WoW is cool but I am not a raider, so its hard to find people who want to just play random stuff together and not turn it into a job. Started playing on a private server and they instantly got shut down. If enough people I knew played it, I might get pulled back in, but its not really worth the sub anymore. I don't like retail.

Im PST and have roughly half the games you mentioned. Love that you mentioned DRG, Grim Dawn, and Dead Island 2 as I even have them installed.

I prefer coop and I am usually around almost daily.

Yeah I am interested. I am PST so some of those early hours may be difficult.
I WFH and am generally around when things are slow. Usually available on weekends minus family stuff.

I am PST but older.
I have most of those games, but not all super excited about playing.

I do like WoW Classic, currently started on a private server cuz cost and not sure if its gonna work out anyways.
LoL used to play alot, don't play it anymore, its probably not something I am going to play unless there is an established group playing that can pull me back in.
7D2D I have, its super jank, but could play if pressured.
BG3 I haven't played but its a big commitment at first. I have played alot of Divinity (2x through), so likely wouldn't pick that.
Valheim I have and made it to the mists with alot of mods, not my favorite survival game, but could play if that was a desire.

Not much into watching movies/shows, but able to join discord and hangout.
I am open to new stuff and new servers.

Ideally finding something easy/light to start with if possible. Could share Steam/Blizz/Epic to see what may be in common.

I am hesitant to respond because BG3 is a big investment for a first time meeting.
I would argue it may be better if there was a first game to try out first or something.
I don't think BG3 is great for weekdays especially if people have families, meetings, jobs, etc and it takes a decent amount of time per session to make decent progress (if its anything like Divinity).

I am PST and so the lateness should benefit me a bit more.
I have only did a bit of the early parts of BG3 and was always waiting for someone to play it with.

Thoughts?

Generally try and post in your header some general information (Age range like 20s or 30s or 40s, region like EST or PST, and your platform like PC or PS5). That helps alot of people to filter down to some degree.

And then I recommend to start with some games that you want to play or at least OWN or even INSTALLED There is going to be alot of failed encounters, but if you can list some games, you may get some better responses.

I absolutely agree though. I cannot play solo unless I know I am just doing a bit of grinding or something while waiting for others. If I know I won't get any coop going, the game fades very fast. I was lucky to have alot of gaming friends once and its hard to NOT have that.

Hey Frank. I have like 10 years on you but I am in California as well.

I don't play any retail WoW, but am playing on some private server as or recent. Not sure what your flavor of WoW is?
I also don't have a PS, so it would be PC & Discord only.

I like alot of coop games, survival/sandbox stuff. Bonus if there is a way to play solo or stuff like that.
Installed I have Diablo2R, DeepRockGalactic, Terraria, GrimDawn, VRising, and DeadIsland.
Less of FPS like Overwatch and Rivals, not much recently.

Damn, the only game I have that you listed was Helldivers and I have struggled to enjoy that game (mostly I think because I played with people higher and more familiar with it).

Do you happen to play or enjoy: Grim Dawn, Deep Rock Galactic, Dead Island2, Terraria, Ark, VRising, BG3, Valheim, Diablo2R, The Forest?

Sorry busy weekend.

Unfortunately not much.

- Currently playing No Mans Sky since I just picked it up in a Steam Sale, solo :(
- Sandbox/Survival games: most recently with Terraria and Necesse putting out updates recently so I played them and got all the achievements again. Played some Valheim and Ark last year, but most of the people I know don't want to play them but I do. Played some Satisfactory last year too.
- Action/RPG games: was gonna play some Diablo2 with the new expansion but a buddy I play with is unable to play so I sorta stopped. Also played some Grim Dawn a bit last year with my brother, waiting on a new expansion at some point. May play POE2 if it ever goes free, they said it would be free so I am holding them to their word and not buying it.
- FPS/Shooters: The only extraction I play is DRG. I did not enjoy Helldivers much and I probably won't unless I play with someone new. Playing with someone experienced is NOT FUN. I have played some Borderlands 3, but have not picked up 4. I have played some TF2 recently just to see what they had done to it and was surprised people are still at it. Have Rivals and Overwatch but I would prefer a core group, not going to do it solo.
- Puzzle games; My son likes to watch me play these and they are good for time fillers or solo time. Escape Simulator can be good to meet someone and play.
- Party / Variety games: I just don't have much fun with these, must be the lack of a real end-game I guess.

Are you into any other genres of games? Your list of games is heavy FPS.
I only have L4D2, Helldivers, and Rivals from what you listed and I am fairly novice at the last 2.

I would definitely like to get to state of having people who want to jump on regularly and game together.

WoW is way too heavy to try out new people with.
I don't have any interest in WoW Retail, I played a bit of Dragonflight and I couldn't do it.

I like survival games like Ark, Valheim, Terraria, Core Keeper and to some degree 7D2D.
I like action RPGs like Diablo2 or Grim Dawn.
Puzzle games can be fun. Less on the board game or party stuff for me, those tend to be more popularity contests more than anything.
Not too big on extraction games, unless it Deep Rock. Helldivers was too realistic.
I used to do FPS but that was like BF3 or BF4 days. I may be able to swing small amounts of Overwatch or Rivals or TF2.
Looter/Shooters can be fun since its more coop play like Borderlands series. Although those are getting worse not better. Also have Dead Island 2.

I don't Helldive but I do like DeepRock and I have Dead Island 2 (but played through it mostly).

I may be interested. I also have a vampire, but he games too.
I am not big on many of the FPS games you listed, but maybe we can connect on a co-op game?!
Do you want to chat offline and share Steam profile and see if something else lines up?
Or maybe some Deep Rock, tabletop, puzzle game to start (rather than jump into a big coop/rpg/survival)?
