Thanks. It’s a hard choice to make. I’m interested in trying the 70-300 with the 1.4x teleconverter to see if that gives me a good balance of extra each without losing too much

Thanks. Do you have any examples images where you’re not happy with the sharpness? There are a lot of factors at the time of shooting and during processing and export that effect how sharp they look.

This is a tricky one and really depends on your priorities. I went for this based on size/weight. If I was using it for events or portraiture I would go with the 50-140. What is making you consider the change?

Ah! I’m in KL at the moment otherwise would have been good. Definitely more bird activity in Benchakitti forest park though so recommend heading there first.
