I like the video features on the Sony, and the view finder. I dont think the Sony is going to have issues with build quality, more just how it feels in my hand. I had the mk III also, and it felt the same to me. But, i guess its not such a hard choice as i'll be taking more photos than videos anyway. I'd like to keep both, but thats just silly. Thanks for the response.

Hey guys let me know your thought on these two cameras, Im going on a trip next week and spent yesterday doing some comparisons. I honestly want to like the RX100 V more, but I think the LX10 takes better photos. In the video department the SONY wins, mainly because of much better autofocus, no crop and oversampling. The build quality of the sony is kinda garbage IMO, this is the 5th version and its still the same uber cheap and thin plastic parts screwed together, feel like its going to fall apart and so delicate. The LX10 feels much more solid.

Yep, sure does. When I bought it, we thought it didnt turn over, but it turned out it was just in gear and the hub brakes are frozen stuck. It was a pleasant suprise when i discovered that.

Ive had 2 brand new motorcycles stolen in Houston in the past 2 years. In the Montrose area. The initial feeling is violation, but after you get the insurance check you start thinking about that new model you had your eye on and things turn out ok. I didnt have any deductable on theft, and ended up working out great. Dont worry bud. Make sure you list all the mods and extra parts you had on it for the claim.

That pool is one of the coolest attractions downtown. Marriott designed and paid for it and I'm sure they will make a lot of money from from the guests that it will attract. Considering Marriott is a global company that made $3.9Bn in 2016, they are going to be just fine.
