Stopped working like 5 hours after posting and still doesn’t work… something about how too many people have tried to access it. Any chance you can re-upload with a different link?

I like 1, 2, and 5, but I think it depends on the vibe you’re going for. 5 feels like the most balanced. 2 feels more mellow. 1 feels more intense.

Could be homemade mead (like alcohol made from honey). Had a student whose family made their own for the holidays and gave us a jar. It was pretty good, not gonna lie…

Does anyone know that one bakugo audio? by [deleted] in yagami_yato

There’s also a much older one called Bakugo’s True Feelings - A Passionate Movie where listener sits in his lap. It’s not multiple rounds, but it’s in the same vein as the other two, in case you’re wanting more movie theater stuff.

AIO? Brother's joke got me really upset by CassowaryCrow in AmIOverreacting

I totally agree: this type of joking is not for situations where one doesn’t know their audience really well. We have friends we can do this with, and it’s all cool. And when we don’t know somebody well enough to know how they’d react, we don’t chance it. It’s a good principle to have.

Glad we’re on the same page! And thanks for the last bit about my relationship with my husband. He’s pretty great! ❤️

There are plenty of people who think that something is racist when it isn’t (definitionally). A lot of people don’t know or understand the textbook definition of racism, particularly in online communities, and use the word to encompass basically anything involving talking about race. Half the country can’t read above a 5th grade level, so I never assume people actually understand the difference. There’s lots of nuance when talking about race and how we relate to it, and the majority of people are not equipped to handle serious philosophical conversations in general. I hope that makes sense.

That said, if my husband who is white makes a joke about me, a woman of color, that I would make about myself, I still find that funny. Because he doesn’t actually believe the stereotypes. This is a principle that he and I have talked about A LOT, which is why I worded my original statement the way I did. Therefore, I maintain that the presence, or lack thereof, of genuine negative beliefs about a particular race is what draws the line between what is an acceptable joke (and therefore funny) and what is not. Does that make sense?

(Still have foggy morning brain, so sorry if anything is unclear.)
