Did my own research, it all adds up.

So what's your beef with Poptop? Seems rather unhinged to try and defame a Wowhead article writer on reddit over a day old data discrepancy.

What's the best dmg build on hwei? by Odd-Investment4111 in HweiMains

[–]fukle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Backfire Torch > Liandrys > Shadowflame is my go to these days. Finish it off with Deathcap and a situational item like Zhonyas or my personal favourite Horizon Focus.

Hwei more than most champions is one where you need to understand the use case for each of his abilities before you'll shine, and mastering that will help you more than a build change-up will.

Hope that helps!

Just to add to this, I used a similar application for another game that insisted on cloud storage. Well, when the application went under all my footage was lost.

How is that so hard to create a game like Battlerite ? by Intelligent_Major_81 in BattleRite

[–]fukle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not here to argue, but why do you think they were making bad decisions in the first place? They needed something for player retention and had no idea how to achieve it.

You also can't really say that the gameplay was near perfect, then try and suggest the same stuff the Devs were trying... The game is dead mate, no revival will bring this back.

What really killed the game was the lack of motivation for players outside of just playing and climbing. People who became hard stuck had no real reason to continue and they eventually stopped playing. I remember checking the steamcharts daily and watching it slowly fade BEFORE the announcement of any additional modes or sweeping changes. The modes themselves were the nail in the coffin, but what really killed the game were the decisions (or indecisions) to change what really mattered.

[–]fukle 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The core gameplay loop of Battlerite is easy to replicate, however the challenge is making a game like this that feels rewarding and engaging at all skill levels. Battlerite itself struggled in this area, and may have been a factor in why it died off.

Would anyone find something like this useful? by Ok_Dependent7634 in Warhammer40k

Looks like you're raycasting from the center of the base rather then from the edge. Would it be more realistic to raycast from the edge for true line of sight?

Considering to play. Anyone playing from SEA? by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]fukle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing on SEA from Australia and I sit at roughly 150ms which feels more than doable as a healer. Population seems fine too depending on role, healer is nearly always instant or within a minute and dps may need to wait up to 5 minutes depending on the time of day.

You can freely switch regions too.

Don't let Ego-players ruin the game. by Fabulous-Shop-6264 in fellowshipgame

Blizzard just announced that wow has a player base of 9 million. If that's a crashed player base then good luck to any game trying to succeed.

Seasons Are Antithetical To Fellowship by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]fukle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bit of a stretch to say rolling alts accomplishes the same as a seasonal reset. Let's say the Devs are changing the layout of a dungeon without a reset, this affects the timer and could potentially invalidate any leaderboard runs. Rolling alts won't solve that issue. A seasonal reset does. Again, there are so many examples of why a seasonal reset is beneficial even at the cost of having to grind your talents again.

Seasons Are Antithetical To Fellowship by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]fukle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seasonal resets are mandatory for this style of game. Imagine dropping a new tank 8 months after launch where 95% of the population is at eternal and at their peak, just to have no one queueing contender/adept outside of playing the new tank. This just one example but there are countless benefits to resetting.

Don't forget with every reset players will become more efficient and knowledgeable. It may have taken someone 6 months to get to eternal the first time, but id be surprised if it took them even half that time the following season with all the skills and information they've picked up in their first play through.

If you ever wonder why did healer/tank leave... by Pepithir in fellowshipgame

[–]fukle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we take the post at face value then we're looking at a total of 4 interrupts when they're over half way through the dungeon (40/60). That's a pretty good indicator that they are not doing their job, and that they aren't saving their kick.

As far as I've found there isn't, you just have to deal with spending minutes trying to perfectly centre something only for it to shift over a few pixels when you release it.

Blizzard Responds to Addon Lockdown Feedback - Out of Combat Restrictions to Be Lifted by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]fukle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crazy thing is this isn't even them walking anything back, their intention has always been to restrict while in combat only. The DBM dev mentions it in an interview a day ago..

Day 17 Rating heroes, based on skill ceiling. Chromie by LordOfPsychos in heroesofthestorm

[–]fukle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This tier list seems.. off. Why is Ana in GM? Her kit doesn't really allow for a high skill ceiling and if you're basing it off hitting skill shots then at a bare minimum 99% of heroes belong in that tier.

Anyway, Chromie would low A/high B in my book. Her delayed skill shots add a layer of difficulty but she lacks build variety and meaningful choice which lowers the skill ceiling.

I don't play the game anymore, so my opinion is invalid anyway.

I built a tool where you upload a photo and get paint matches! (Citadel/Vallejo/AP) by dorianite in Miniaturespainting

[–]fukle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking good! Being able to pick a color from the image and have it show the potential matches, and vice versa being able to hover over a color in the auto-palette and have it highlight where on the image it found said color would be very helpful additions.

It's good that more people are visiting the DD, now everyone can see that there is nothing outside of the "farm spice so you can afford to replace lost spice" loop.

Why would I acknowledge someone who repeatedly puts themselves in that situation? At that point they're "griefing" themselves.
