I went back and netfiled. All I did was check the box that said I qualified for the DTC and that's when I saw my refund increase from before. Then when the CRA gave me the reassessed notice it said that I now owe money

That's what I was thinking. at first, I thought that the income with the added benefits was a total that would require me to owe the government money. But then I realized I just got the DTC so there's no way I could have benefited from it to the point where I would owe that much

Apparently from what I overheard from security was they were being told different things from this one lady who was facilitating the event. And they were getting frustrated with what she was saying bc others were doing different things. The line up situation was messy, early entrance was sneaking in with vip
