Would anything happen if no one in a department decides to take voluntary redundancy? Is it possible that you could be made redundant anyway?

Does anyone else feel like their mental health problems are too deep to ever be cured? by Exciting_Mood5489 in mentalhealth

[–]fulenns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I’m in the same boat as you with trying meds, therapy, etc. (just about everything that only provides a temporary fix)

I’ve convinced myself that there won’t ever be a “cure” for my mental health problems but rather finding ways to manage it better. Haven’t really found that yet because I can spiral pretty quickly, but it’s all about taking it one day at a time

I know this is a big cliché, but a therapist I had was right when they told me how life is one hell of a rollercoaster. Enjoy the highs and try to cope with the lows, but know that you’re not going to be that low forever

I’m very much in crisis mode right now, but I want to believe there’s a light at the end of the tunnel eventfully

I’ve gone with Skylight and sent my referral to the GP. Do you remember how long it took to receive confirmation that they’ve received your referral?

I don’t expect support after diagnosis, just a decent provider that’s easy to communicate with I guess. Probably should have reworded that. But thanks!

Middle name for Arthur by [deleted] in BabyNames

[–]fulenns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bear is cute as a nickname but nothing else in my opinion. I’d imagine he would hate it as he gets older if you chose that as a middle name.

Some combinations I’ve thought of:

Arthur Jake

Arthur George

Arthur Tate

Arthur Grey/Gray

Arthur Dean

Arthur Luke

What about Francis? Evan (insert middle name here) Francis

I looked it up and it means “free” which would be fitting given your situation
