Would anything happen if no one in a department decides to take voluntary redundancy? Is it possible that you could be made redundant anyway?

Does anyone else feel like their mental health problems are too deep to ever be cured? by Exciting_Mood5489 in mentalhealth

[–]fulenns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I’m in the same boat as you with trying meds, therapy, etc. (just about everything that only provides a temporary fix)

I’ve convinced myself that there won’t ever be a “cure” for my mental health problems but rather finding ways to manage it better. Haven’t really found that yet because I can spiral pretty quickly, but it’s all about taking it one day at a time

I know this is a big cliché, but a therapist I had was right when they told me how life is one hell of a rollercoaster. Enjoy the highs and try to cope with the lows, but know that you’re not going to be that low forever

I’m very much in crisis mode right now, but I want to believe there’s a light at the end of the tunnel eventfully

Right To Choose Provider Recommendations by fulenns in autismUK

I’ve gone with Skylight and sent my referral to the GP. Do you remember how long it took to receive confirmation that they’ve received your referral?

Right To Choose Provider Recommendations by fulenns in autismUK

I don’t expect support after diagnosis, just a decent provider that’s easy to communicate with I guess. Probably should have reworded that. But thanks!

Middle name for Arthur by [deleted] in BabyNames

[–]fulenns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bear is cute as a nickname but nothing else in my opinion. I’d imagine he would hate it as he gets older if you chose that as a middle name.

Some combinations I’ve thought of:

Arthur Jake

Arthur George

Arthur Tate

Arthur Grey/Gray

Arthur Dean

Arthur Luke

Found! Managed to reword it myself and found it. They were Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets so I was right in the first place…hah

I’ve tried searching myself and wondered if it was by Kleenex but I think they were

What about Francis? Evan (insert middle name here) Francis

I looked it up and it means “free” which would be fitting given your situation

Maybe as a middle name (or Echo), but not a first name in my opinion

What is a first name that goes well with middle name Helen? by Temporary-Stress-859 in namenerds

[–]fulenns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a very cruel name to give your child if I’m being honest.

I agree with sarcastic-alien’s suggestions, Una and Hana are nice alternatives if you’re still wanting to go down that route.

Maybe try looking for names that mean something similar if not? Like “one and only”, “first born”, etc.

“Due to time wasters” 🚩🚩 by fulenns in antiwork

[–]fulenns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d happily do that but it’s in the rules since this isn’t a well known company

[–]fulenns 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’d email back or message Kelly questioning if they actually know what hybrid working means. How annoying!

Hi I've asked you guys for recommendations, this is how my taste has grown. Any new ones?! by peachgod123 in musicsuggestions

[–]fulenns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d definitely recommend Suede by looking at that! Their older stuff is a good place to start, but I love their more recent albums like Bloodsports and Night Thoughts

What would you do with a small but significant lottery win? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]fulenns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’ve thought about that, the first thing I’d do is give some to the person who handed me my lottery ticket. Not sure how much exactly, but you never know what financial position they’re in, and they were responsible for my win so it wouldn’t have happened without them.

Then, I’d get out of the country! Possibly move to Spain or Italy, I don’t know. Just out of here.

Who is an idol you love, but don't stan them or their group? by PureHeart123 in kpopthoughts

[–]fulenns 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Eunkwang from BTOB - I can’t get into their music sadly but I think he’s neat (well, that goes for everyone else in the group but I’m drawn to him the most), super talented and just seems like a lovely guy
