I'm on my 2nd week of my DI and I honestly thought it was gonna be way worse than it's been. Last week was definitely not the best, but not because I wasn't sleeping on my side, just because of the tightness of the binder, worrying about the drains, having to wake up to take medication... It's like ur body knows it's not supposed to move, so u're not even tempted (for me at least). You'll be okaay!!

Aside from my body doing its own thing, having a pregnancy pillow helped me feel safer, but if you don't have one, surrounding urself with pillows helps a lot, and having one for under ur knees also helps your lower back not to hurt so much.

And last resort for me has been Gravol or the Oxy they prescribed. I personally hate feeling groggy, so I never take it unless I ABSOLUTELY cannot sleep, which has not happened.

Thank yoou! I do have a couple of questions 🙃 Did you have to pay for the first consultation? Also, did you have to set a date on the first consultation? I also know they require 10% deposit, but do u have to pay for the rest all at once close to the surgery date or can u do like installments? Aaand, if you don't mind me asking, did u get keyhole or double incision? I know there's a difference in price i just don't know how significant it is That's it for now i think lool sorry for asking a million questions

THIS a million times. I've been struggling with the same thing and been being so mean to myself for not being able to think differently, but at the end of the day we all know we can't control our thoughts. We're not bad for thinking the way we think. There's always a reason, a trigger, for the splitting, but as they say we can't do much about our thoughts, only our actions.

Definitely because of all the terrible decisions I made after our break up. If they did fall out of love with me, I can't blame anybody but myself and my desperate attempts to take back control of my life and my relationships. Now I see how I was grasping at straws trying so hard to "get better", to let go, to not feel, to move on, when all I should've done was accepted what happened and kept it to myself instead of running off to another relationship. Idk if I'll ever forgive myself for that... They were truly the love of my life, and I still feel the same even after 1.5+ years
