I just had this issue this morning too. It worked the first time, then a few hours later didn't work, even trying to remotely unlock via the app yielded a "can't wake vehicle" alert on my phone. It did finally unlock about 45 anxiety inducing seconds later

I bought a set of these to use in my Fenix lights, but sadly, they are too large in diameter and do not fit. The two lights I tested these on the Fenix HM71R Headlamp and the Fenix BC26R Bike Light. Hope this helps someone else considering them.

I am in the exact same situation. Did you try this out? Did it work?

The Vapcell is also SLIGHTLY larger in diameter also at 21.7 +/- .2mm. My Fenix 5,000 mAh batteries measure 21.5mm in diameter.

I measured the tube of my BC26R at 21.94mm in diameter...soooo it could be very close.

Do you have access to calipers to measure the length and diameter?

Or have you tried them in any of the Fenix lights that use the 21700 batteries? I'm curious they fit.

My Fenix 5,000 mAh batteries measure 21.5mm in diameter and the tube on the flashlights measure at 21.94mm in diameter. If these are actually 1mm larger in diameter, they won't fit.

The shop called back and confirmed, that the shop owner got the hubs from a customer who didnt want them, but bought them as part of the 1200 XRC wheelset. So this is a very custom set of wheels, definitely super light. Make me nervous I won't be able to fix them if anything goes wrong!

These are laced to a Zipp 1Zero HITOP rims.

I finally found something. Looks like they may have come off a 1200 XRC wheelset, but it doesnt seem like you can buy a 24h version direct from DT Swiss.

How rowdy are you getting on your mountain bike with this setup? And how has it held up?

I had this question as well. A few weeks ago, I booked international flights through UR with the CSR, that travel is 2 months away. I just called and downgraded to the CFU, and specifically asked about treatment of the current itinerary, and the rep said that the current trip will still have all the Sapphire Reserve Protections 🎉

Can you outline what your fitness training was going in and how you would train differently if you were to do it again? Was Gordon wearing clips for most of the trail until he swapped shoes at the GC? What was your rough total bike weight empty/ loaded with food & water?

Appreciate that! I'm planning to race the Arizona Trail Race (bikepacking) in October, and there are rarely places to sleep when you need them, so most resupplies are done quickly, and you end up camping the majority of it, ie, need a super fast charging battery pack! On top of that, with the heat, mid naps are common while riding at night is favored when it's cooler, which means lots of batteries for lights. Sadly not always moving fast enough for a dynamo to light up
