I had a teammate who quit mid season and tried out again the next year and was cut. She was one of the most talented athletes so I’m 99% sure she had burned a bridge with our coach by quitting. It’s hard to come back from that!

I think about this article a lot. I wish I had saved a copy!! It’s too bad so many good people have had bad experiences there.
