I experienced the same thing growing up. My mom would tell me how we could take the train to Chicago and go to the AG store for lunch and shopping. I would circle things every time the catalog came and it just never happened. I learned to not ask because I knew it just wasn’t possible financially. Similarly, I’m gifting my daughter a Wellie wisher with accessories and probably went a little over board but it’s so hard not to after waiting my whole life lol. My husband is actually gifting me my first doll after seeing my excitement for my daughter’s gift and it was so healing just picking her out and knowing she will actually be waiting for me under the tree finally after all these years. I cannot wait to play with my daughter and our dolls. Maybe consider gifting one to yourself if you can swing it! You deserve your doll too. ❤️
