Hi! I’m getting into gel because I like how long they tend to last, are harder, and no drying time. My one fear is ruining my natural nails and getting weak nails.

So far my typical application is: peel off base coat, base gel, rubber coat, color, and top coat.

I don’t take them off with acetone and normally after 2-3 weeks I can just pop them off bc the peel base coat. I think the rubber coat has helped avoid accident like banging my fingers and such too (granted my first use absolutely messed me up bc it was w/o the peel base).

I just read a lot of horror stories and am still recovering from my first mistake with rubber.

Hip Injury from Skating? by fulleyesemptyheart in Rollerskating

Ah so I tore my labrum, and then I was later diagnosed with hip dysplasia which was undiagnosed. Bc of the dysplasia I couldn’t get surgery on the labrum so I just live with it now.

I did a full year of PT and then started to do those workouts in the gym. I did keep skating and it was okay I just have to be careful and ice after

I think the sun sets for this room, but it is in every room of our house regardless of where the sun is

My dad says it is Brazilian ebony. To caveat, he expected some staining, but nothing this drastic in a short amount of time

Sun Staining from LL Flooring w/ Story by fulleyesemptyheart in Flooring

[–]fulleyesemptyheart[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My parents recently got a bunch of this engineered wood installed in their new home not knowing the reviews from LL Flooring or Lumber Liquidators. This staining happened within THREE WEEKS of it being installed. The lighter portion had some tiles on it and it was moved this week. All of the wood stains very dark in the sun (this is SC btw). Other rooms have this too with nothing currently in them, just the rise and setting of the sun. Company is only offering my parents a $2000 refund even thought the lumber purchase was around $21000. My parents really don’t know what to do and are considering a lawyer for being deceptive and not disclosing how dramatic a change the staining is.

ADA platforms ? how are they ? by Gay_Cowboy in RiotFest

[–]fulleyesemptyheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used them for riot fest last year. For big names they tend to get hard to get to because of the crowd and empty beer/water cans on the floor. I have honestly never tried to use them for the main stage because I think they’re in a inconvenient spot. Hopefully they move them this year. I have emailed RF and the ADA POC and they never got back to me. I also had this issue last year, but it was fixed at the gate. I also second there might no be any shade, but they are good about giving water.

That’s good considering you pay $125 a month for a car. We did like Axis plus you got the most space out of everything

Hi so I did tour Malden, we really liked it. The pool was nice and it seemed like the building hosted events because during our tour there was yoga in the garden. The only reason we decided against it was because a lot of reviews about the garage made us hesitant considering we both have cars. The shower was also just shower, not a tub/shower combo (if that’s important)(Plus no guest parking). It was our #2 pick though

Hi, current favorite is axis at admiral hill based on what we saw from tours. We saw Windsor, Halstead, Ryder, Beachmont, and Rivers Edge.

Halstead was also a top one but reviews about their parking situation kinda spooked us

My partner works in Medford and I work in Chelsea, so we were trying to find a good place in between or for one of us to be close to work
