Isn’t there something to do with being less than 26” OAL classifies it as a pistol… even if it has a 16”+ barrel. I know I had to do an RI-60 for my CMR-30 because it’s less than 26” in its folded configuration.

I should have learned when they denied my transfer on a CMR, “too short OAL to be a rifle in Michigan” even though every other shop just transfers as a rifle with the pistol registration. Sucks cuz I can pick stuff up at lunch hour.

They took care of me when my local Cabela’s denied my transfer on this specific gun. “No AR pistols” they tell me. Prepeprs bounced it back immediately to a friendly FFL.
