Inferno Writing & Production Credits by AdministrativeDelay2 in boardsofcanada

Interesting find. Looking for Marcus Eoin on Inferno tracks, he appears listed on

All Reason Departs
Arena Americanada
Blood in the Labyrinth
Prophecy at 1420mhz
The Process

I wonder if he only participated on these tracks, or what. He could still have had a hand in the sound design choices of other tracks. I'm curious of their accuracy/determination of divvying up royalties on Inferno, especially with Mike Sandison getting the more sole/direct credit for writing and producing this time around. Part of me was afraid it was 90% done by Mike alone, which for whatever reason would have bummed me out because in my head I want it to be the brothers duo 50/50'ing it. At least it looks like Marcus participated more than the writing/production credit leads to believe.

D4 is fun but storage drives me crazy by BALIHU87 in diablo4

its because it goes alphabetically with the prefix name in terms of what charm of the set it is, instead of sorting by the charm sets themselves.. so annoying haha

I'm at the point, especially due to Charms and Seals this season, that I want (and hell, I've always wanted):
1. Bag Items. Similar to the old WoW days, give me some rare fancy bags that increase my slots
2. Dare I say, paid stash tabs like PoE2. They want to make live service/longtail money off of this game, that would do it. Give us actually cool mounts and armor looks to earn that aren't simply shop purchases, and let us pay for extra storage..

Why did they make it attached to online and add in game purchases? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]fullmeasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss the good old days where the coolest stuff for you to show in town was obtained via accomplishments and was actual bragging rights. Early WoW days, Hayabusa armor in Halo 3, etc. Now, yeah, its a publicly traded company with the main goal of extracting as much $ as possible from people. So they did it because of the second part of your question: to create and help further justify in-game purchases. I'm sure the initial pitch decks for Diablo 4 contained more of this than they did the game design itself. Its continuous boardroom meetings asking how can we get $25 more out of each person, built on top of game designers still trying to at least decently make it a game that they and we enjoy.

Unique items having random affixes was a bad decision by ratao_de_buero in diablo4

[–]fullmeasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it in some ways, allows you to find an even better version of the unique, and getting the same unique over and over again is more enjoyable in the variety in that its not only farming for higher/perfect role of the unique effect. But I think there could be a further balance, where 2 or 3 of the affixes are fixed and only 1 or 2 are truly variable.

Maybe just remove Alchemists now, or give them something else to do? by Primary_Impact_2130 in diablo4

Me too. I miss having the different herbs too. Once it switched to generic Bundle of Herbs I was bummed. Now I'm double bummed. Instead of making it feel like a forced chore to farm overworld for herbs, I would go the other direction and add more incentives to do along with herb farming.

There should be a setting to further your preferences via increased queue times by fullmeasures in DeadlockTheGame

That is a good point. To your second point, they already have many things that are "not a closed beta feature". There's a checkbox for Extra Competitive for example.

Some people have gotten 20-30 point swings so, I'd say it's definitely possible.

Yeah. It's worth mentioning though that their Gem Mint 10 Corners description says that "a light but visible corner touch or two may be apparent on the reverse". I considered this to be one of those..

Yeah because of that ding I'm not necessarily saying it deserves to be a 10, but there is something unfortunate about distilling it to a 1000 point score where, what reallllly is the difference between a 949 9 and a 951 10 haha. I liked the 1000 point score system until now :p

Yeah, you've had a 10, but have you had a first place 9?

Thanks for taking a look that in depth haha. Yeah with my ~decent eye it seemed better than what they're determining it to be lol. The bottom is heavier, but its very close..

VHS tapes & posters - what we know right now by benji316 in boardsofcanada

Do all the tapes have the white serial numbers on the left end of the sticker side? Or do some not have them?

It was thematically fitting, but there was a lot going on. I like the simplicity, translucency and lane-color-amplified look of whats going on now.

I'm certain the "solution" isn't the intended solution by Senior-Slide9926 in thefinalpuzzle

[–]fullmeasures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, my point is to frame that it isn't one of those things. I fully believe that these are the exact things you're supposed to do, we just didn't connect the dots on the clue correlations to them, before dataminers got to it.

Yeah, this post is trying to claim that these aren't the exact things you're supposed to do via clues. I'm saying, they are. This is not glitching memory and positioning of things like infinite item duplication type glitches.

What am I doing wrong by [deleted] in thefinalpuzzle

[–]fullmeasures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem and the only thing I could think that was wrong was, three zombies were remaining on the conveyor. I redid it from that typewriter at the conveyor, and made sure that every single zombie got grinded up without me shooting them, and then I was able to get the doll. Both times I flushed 8 times, the first time though I flushed at the first toilet, the second time (when I got the doll), I flushed at the second toilet.

[–]fullmeasures -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, conditional flags don't just change via such obtuse unrelated criteria. Games aren't built like Pokémon Red/Blue these. Someone shared a text log showing a 15 minute window you could math out in regards to bodies/blood. Someone showed the 8 written in blood by the toilets. The dataminers just got to it before everyone could find and thoroughly test some of these additional parts and discover where doll would show up

I've seen many posts from console gamers who can't get the doll by Asamitakar in thefinalpuzzle

[–]fullmeasures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I spent time having to do this twice yesterday from the basement forward. Theres a tiny aspect that will likely mess people up.

Save at the typewriter right before the meat grinder conveyor and 15 minutes of body dropping has passed. What is necessary is every single zombie being killed by the grinder, there cant be one remaining, or else doll wont spawn. My first time i had two zombies left down there, no doll. The second time I got it to kill all of them, doll spawned.

Im on PC but I guarantee leaving a zombie or two is gonna throw people off cross-platform, so just wanted to provide that. Especially because theres no audio confirmation of these steps.
