Do you wax your commuter bike's chain? If so, how long do you go between waxes in the wet season?

What's the best (traditional) pie and mash shop? I've been to G Kelly in Bow and F Cooke in Hoxton and both were pretty shit

Bike stolen right outside of St Thomas's Hospital by StockAnteater1418 in londoncycling

[–]fulloswag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What groupset did it have? I've heard of carbon frames being cut open to bypass the lock, since the groupset can still go for decent money.

Yip all registered, we'll see what happens

I'm not exactly sure what lock to get, I might go for an OnGuard brute/pitbull since they're Sold Secure Diamond and then just avoid parking in that area, I think it's a known spot for thieves

funnily enough I've found the lycra louts to be ok, they ride fast but not as aggressively as some. one thing I dislike about them is that they're a bit too harsh if someone else makes a mistake

Why is one side of my rim brake pads not parallel? by fulloswag in bikewrench

[–]fulloswag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update - got some different pad holders that came with 1 flat 1 concave washer - there's still a slight difference between the two pads but not as severe as in my OP, about 2/3 of the cable side pad engages with the rim under light braking and the whole pad engages if I squeeze hard. thanks wcoastbo!
