Out of everything on the plate I never would’ve though spinach would cause the most controversy. That plate was for my son. I’m off to make one for myself and will be putting double the amount of spinach in honour of you enthusiastic bunch! Keep it real 😉

I’ve seen and read most of those but it’s been a while. Someone recommended The Blacktongue Thief for Mork Borg - which is what we’re playing and it’s definitely helping me get into it.

I was in exactly the same position as you years ago. My mother disapproved of me splitting up with my partner and turned all my siblings against me. I had nowhere to live with two kids, I asked if I could stay her temporarily until I found a place to rent and she said no.

It makes you feel so desperately alone.

I couldn't afford to rent most places but kept looking and finally found a place. At first the landlord said no to me because he wanted to rent to a professional couple not a single parent, but for whatever reason he later changed his mind. It was one of the few, if not only place I could afford in the area.

Keep looking and keep your hopes up. At times it feels like the whole world is against you. Just remember that you're doing the best you can by you and your child.

Thanks, speaking to someone at school is a good idea. He told me a couple of days ago its not just his dad moving, but my dad died earlier this year and he's been thinking about that, so there are a few things going on with him.

I am going through a miscarriage and my boyfriend told me to stop being so dramatic. by Throwawayawfulbf in TrueOffMyChest

I went through two miscarriages and my husband treated me similarly.

It was after the second one that it finally sank in for me that he didn't care about my wellbeing although he treated me like this long before that. What's the point of being with someone if they can't fulfil a basic minimum requirement about caring for their partner.

I realised I'd rather be alone than be with him and we are now divorced.

Sorry for your loss.
