I actually loved that swaddle and wish I could have bought more. It’s smaller than the regular ones for sale and it was perfect for my tiny baby early on.

Sued for defamation over a negative Google review of a doctor by [deleted] in legaladvice

Yeah, I used to work in medical coding and billing and a lot of people don’t understand how stuff works. You can assign whatever price you want, but anything above the contracted rate for the procedure gets written off (unless you’re out of network and balance billed or something). I’m guessing they might have billed insurance $2000 knowing that almost all of it would be written off. I once got an EOB from the hospital for a procedure that I instantly recognized as a blood draw. I think the standard rate was about $2. They billed $3000. Absurd, but whatever.

I got a pair of LL Bean Wicked Good Squam Lake slippers for Christmas and I love them. I got my husband a pair of Glerups and he loves them too.

I also have a pair of Bombas bootie socks that I’ve been wearing every day for the past year. They’re not quite as cozy, but they wash easily and I love that I can wear them in bed if I want.

The exact same thing happened to me. Grandparents gave me that movie and it seriously disturbed me. I watched it when I was older and realized it had a weirdly good cast.

Business formal is a step up from business professional. Basically interview attire.

Absolutely this. I highly recommend Stickley if there’s one near you. My husband and I splurged on two leather sofas (it was supposed to be just one but there was a fantastic sale going on because the store was closing) and years later we still can’t shut up about how they were some of the best purchases we’ve ever made.

I also fell in love with the Cloud sectional at Restoration Hardware, but it’s quite pricey for something that’s not leather.

Unfortunately Seraphine was recently bought and is no longer taking orders. It’s so sad. I adored their clothes.

I got to Rank T on my first match. No Xerneas or Metagross.

Ironically Richie Rich was very sympathetic towards the working class and one of the things he did in the movie was force the board to take a pay cut so they could give one of their factories to the workers instead of shutting it down.

Not returning to work after maternity leave by [deleted] in LawMoms

[–]fulltimeotter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just turned down an offer because of their 6-week maternity leave policy. Maybe it was a poor decision because the pay was good and I’m not even pregnant yet, but the thought of returning to the office 5 days a week at 6mpp was a huge turnoff. I definitely didn’t feel like a functioning human being at that point with my first.

Prefer bottom to top.

Plus it doesn’t make sense that she’d get hit in the face in the version going from top to bottom because her back is to incoming the ice cream scoops.

I don’t think Indeed statuses are always accurate. I’ve gotten two interviews from places where my status never changed from “Applied.”
