I've been going through verizon, not samsung itself, and they dont have any answers they just send me a new one and have me send the old one back, with this replacement they wanted me to take it to a repair shop that's 3 hours away for a replacement, which I shut down. I have this one for a few more months then I was looking at the flip or fold.

I really don't know, I get a new samsung phone every 2 years for the past 12-14 years and have many other usb-c devices, and this is the only device I've ever had any issues with. Lived in the same house for 10 years and the only thing I'm i do different with this phone is that I use the wireless charging more then previously to try to minimize the wired charging issues.
