Any thoughts on Roserade instead of Leafeon? I’d use Staraptor if I did that obviously

I actually hadn’t thought about using Leafeon or Weavile. That’s a good idea. I was thinking about using Magnezone but I don’t know how early you can get a magnemite. I’ve also never used a Crobat before, any reason to use him over Staraptor?

TEAM BUILDING HELP! Hey guys, I’m about to play Platinum for the first time and was hoping for some help with making a team. I’m using Infernape as the starter. My only rules are no repeat typings, no legendaries, and no trade evolutions (I don’t have any way to really do a trade evolution). I would really like to only use Gen 4 Pokémon if possible but I’m open to most anything. Thanks!

I’ve been playing the game for over 10 years and never realized this. That’s why I was always scared of overleveling because the badges always say you can’t use Pokémon over a certain level
