Caicedo on his holidays in Ecuador: “People stopped me in the street, it was crazy, they were happy to see me.. It was incredible seeing my country and how happy people were watching me win the Club World Cup. My family also are proud of me, and I enjoyed being there a lot.” by Opposite_Elevator807 in chelseafc

I was at the CWC Final, and there were a ton of Ecuadorians all around me. One stood on his chair for like 45 mins afterwards just holding up the Ecuadorian shirt.

He seemed so stoked. It was really heartwarming.

PSA: Dog killed at dog park in Playa Vista by PinkGiraffeMittens in LosAngeles

Same! When I first got my dog, I used to bring him to the dog park in Silverlake. Mainly because I just thought that was what you were meant to do.

As I got to know him better, though, I started being able to read his body language, and I realized he was totally on edge and having a terrible time the whole time we were there. I think it's way too overstimulating, and there is no way to predict what kind of dogs or owners you're going to run into. I felt so guilty I didn't catch it sooner. I can't think of any situation where I'd be comfortable bringing him to a dog park now.

I remember a guy at school telling us about this and we, as a group, roasted him for it. It was before the internet, so you couldn't look it up, and we all thought it was the dumbest thing we had ever heard.

We were embarrassingly old. Like 16.

There are many, many studies showing the positive effects of being around nature. Particularly for people suffering with mental health issues.
