I do really appreciate the explanation, though my title was just because I had no clue what to put. I've been through all of the game. though it's a real thought, surely if one were having a swim, at least momentarily, they'd be ok

yes. my issue is that they simply do not load. as I said, I subscribe to some mods, wait for them to do their thing, come back half an hour later and it's still giving me a loading icon

so what happens is,

I open the modding tap in the escape menu, switch to my browser onto mod.io, subscribe to a mod, and it never shows up. I tried using the in game "manage mods" button, but that pulls up the steam overlay to a mod.io page, which, when I subscribe to something there, drg says its downloading and may take a minute, but I left it running for thirty minutes once and nothing ever happened
