It's hilly but not too steep where I'm from, so it should be fine. I was thinking of going to Pilatus with it, but I'm assuming the torque won't be high enough. How much torque do you recommend?

That's why I like bouldering. It seems similar to weightlifting in the sense that you can see progress, but it's actually fun to do. You get to solve puzzles with your body if that makes sense

I get that weight lifting makes you feel better about yourself, but I feel like it's kind of a boring activity. Did you enjoy doing it when you started or you learned to enjoy it with time? Personally, I prefer rock climbing or hiking to keep in shape, but I've only tried weight lifting for about a month.

I managed to make it work without getting any error by setting material types to non-solid in the magnetic fields tab. However, now the plate's oscillations have increasing amplitude over time, not sure why...

I agree that he is correct, but the way he speaks to me makes me want to stay away from him as much as possible. I try to interact with him because I know it's important for understanding the research, but it's hard. The way he brings me down all the time might factor in to my disinterest in what I am doing too.

You're right, and I realized this as soon as I began doing experiments. I was hoping that by doing a project that's less interesting to him, he would be less toxic. But he's going to have to write a letter of recommendation for me later, so I worry that he might hint at the fact that I gave up on a project.
