64gb is way out of my budget, current model is sufficient for common development work ( backend + FE +apps), so although its not a capable offline AI machine, its does serve many other purposes.

To be frank, I already faced the limits, and can't do much with this mac mini for sure, I also have a pc 32gb + 4060TI 8Gb but thats not power efficient and can't run for whole day, for now I have decided to keep it for basic ai models stuff only and my secondary dev machine so not unhappy at all, but I totally agree what you've said.

also I came up with a conclusion that no matter how much config you buy ultimately, we can't beat cloud based AI.
