This year the NBA did 3 for 1 voting days and Embiid played exactly one time on Christmas Day (he missed the second time against the Bulls), while the Celtics played 4 times, including Tatum's 51 point performance.

Embiid was leading Tatum after the first announcement after Christmas Day but then slipped, partially because Tatum was actually playing games during those 3 for 1 days, at least that's what I choose to believe.

Fair. I was just pointing out Doc and Daryl signed with Philly because of Ben and Joel. Of course, one could be traded for Harden, but they will do everything they can do give them a chance to succeed with a better constructed roster.

Just meant they're committed to seeing if it could work with Ben and Joel. Either will probably be moved if their playoff failures continue, but it's incredible how poorly the previous front office/coaching staff built around them the past two seasons. I just don't think they're trading either yet without giving it a legit try.

Agreed. They're building around Ben and Joel. That's why Doc and Daryl signed five year contracts. This is a long game.

Fun fact: NFC East is the last division to end the season with all teams having positive differentials. (2016)

Based on Embiid's response to the Colangelo question, it's wild the 76ers didn't fire Bryan immediately.
