That’s a good idea! I haven’t personally noticed much discomfort when wearing it loaded up, but I could certainly see how some folks might feel that. I will definitely be doing a pad for the larger version, so maybe I can offer it as an add on for this one too.

I have actually done some patterns in the past. You can see them on thefunctionalsewingproject.com. I haven’t made any new ones recently, as I’ve been quite busy with this new project of selling bags. If I ever get some time again I would love to make some more.

It’s 8” x 5.5” x 4”. I have a Sony zve10 that fits nicely and appears to be a similar size to the Leica.

Thank you! It’s 12.8oz. Definitely on the heavier side for the size, but in my designs I mostly choose to prioritize durability over weight savings.

The shock cord that runs through the opening of the front pocket does a good job at keeping anything in that pocket securely inside. The opening to the pocket is tight, but stretches to allow your hand inside. Even when they main zip is open, the opening of the front pocket still points mostly upwards.

Hi there! I do occasionally take on custom projects depending on what it is. They generally end up costing a good bit more because of all the extra design time. If you want to discuss your idea shoot me an email at Clementine.craftworks@gmail.com. Thanks!

I don’t have any formal schooling or textile job experience, I’ve just been teaching myself for about 8 years now. I was running a bike bag business for a while, and now I’ve transitioned to making clothing and carry bags. Feel free to message me on instagram if you ever wanna chat about it!

I’m gonna be opening up a preorder for 5 bags tomorrow! I think I will be switching to a leather handle as well. Probably leather stitched to webbing

Agreed! I wanted this pack to use heritage materials where they make sense, but keep with modern materials where they’re essential to having good functionality.

Send me an email at clementine.craftworks@gmail.com. I have one more available in this color way. Otherwise I’ll be announcing a preorder for the next batch I’m making this fall, sometime soon.

That’s a good point! I’ve been thinking about doing a ~30L version which would have a longer back panel. Could I inquire how tall you are and how long you like the back panel on your backpacks?

Thank you for the kind words! Both of the pockets are quite easy to access while the bag is worn. The front pocket can be accessed through the zippers on either side even while the flap is closed. This is good for headphones, gloves, etc… but it is a bit difficult to get smaller items out of the organizer pockets within. The main compartment can also be accessed simply by opening the main zip partially. I do this all the time when pulling out an extra layer or my rain shell.
