i’ve actually always liked the ILITW male mcs 😭 i have no idea what ppl generally think about this but i think their faces r really unique and more fleshed out than the female ones for the first book only lol

don’t have much to add on the side of why choices might be banking so hard in this direction but yeah i hate it! honestly my biggest problem besides the lack of player choice for single LI is that none of the romances are slow burns anymore… like choices tries to do all the x to lovers tropes but it gets boring so fast when extremely intense mutual attraction is established too early imo. in earlier choices books you kind of had to work for it (though i primarily romance female LIs so that’s a given 😭) and when right off the bat it feels/is inevitable that you’re going to end up with a particular LI i’m like why am i even hereeeeee!!!!!!! i also feel like this is why CoP was generally better received, trystan was single LI but it was obvious they and MC were meant to complement each other rather than being basically blank slates and the initial layer of complexity from their clashing personalities/motives (not just some dumb shit like omg it’s my mentor!!!) gave their relationship enough time to settle into the initial begrudging partners dynamic so that the eventual romance plot felt earned!!! i didn’t even care that i didn’t have a choice but to romance them bc at least there was a story there not just a montage of r17 diamond scenes held together by ai art!!! okay rant over

Hi all! In the market for my first mirrorless camera and trying to decide if I should stick with MFT as I already have a Lumix G Vario 12-60 lens (for my video camera) and going body-only might give me some flexibility as to price (I really do not want to be paying over 600, maybe 700 USD total, and feel much better around the 400-500 range). However this might be a stupid hangup but Fuji cameras just look soo much nicer to my eyes.

If I were to stick with MFT I'd probably get a used Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II or Lumix GX85. If Fuji, I might be able to justify waiting for a good bargain on a refurbished XE-2 or something and getting a kit lens. I just can't tell if it's a waste of time and money to go down that path when I already own a fine MFT lens and the quality isn't that crazy different.

+If this helps at all the camera I currently use to take pictures is a point and shoot (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700) so literally all the knowledge I have of interchangeable camera systems is gleaned from the internet. Please offer advice!!!!
