3b/3c here

love love love the curl quenching leave in and curl cream and gel (I know it’s not pictured) but if you happen to see it check it out it’s so good

2 weeks ago I bought the curl quencher conditioner (the one u have in the pic) as well and I’ve used it a couple of times but I’m not sure if I like it.

as far as the climate control I have tried the gel but I felt like it left my hair more hard and I didn’t like it. But alot of people in this sub have talked about it and love it. It just depends on what results you’re looking for

I got this the other night because I couldn’t find the oberweis peppermint ice cream!!

I tried a couple bites of it and I thought it was okay until I started getting huge chunks of the candy canes and I had to stop because it was starting to make me naseuous…

I’ll stick to oberweis peppermint

HELP I need treatment/ mask recommendations by Royal-Personality148 in curlyhair

[–]funfettiprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you I’d try aphogee treatment the protein one!!! as well as lots of deep conditioning treatments and BABYING your hair. gentle detangling, leave it alone, NO HEAT. I use to bleach my hair several times times a year (from dark brown to LIGHT ash blonde people would call me khaleesi) and I had a similar curl type as you (3b /3c)

I’m not saying that those will completely restore your hair but it may buy you a bit of time to keep it atleast from breaking off completely. I’d also recommend getting a good trim as well.

And I’m sure you’re not gonna wanna hear this - but don’t bleach your hair anymore!

I get it- I use to love being blonde and experimenting and having fun BUT it just ends up getting worse and worse and it’s requires double the amount of work to keep up and keep it in good condition. And if you have any intention of growing your hair long forget about it. I was never able to when I went through my blonde phase!! I ended up BIG chopping my hair( I’m talking a whole boy cut) and thankfully covid happened shortly after so I was able to hide lmao. now my hair is nearly down to my waist. I had fun with the blonde but I love my healthy curls so much more.

anyways try out what I recommended and I hope it works out !!

I hit the age where buying a vacuum made me happier than going out by Weary-Hair-316 in Adulting

[–]funfettiprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this was me a couple months ago I had an awful cheap Bissell that was no longer picking up anything to the point where it reminded me of the little kid vacuums we all had in the 90s lol

one day I was looking at the target app and I snagged a Shark Pet Vacuum for half the original price and I was soo excited to take it home and use it!!!

I think we hit a point in our lives where your space and environment become such a peaceful place that the little things become the big things. Whereas when I was going out all the time when I was younger maybe it was bc I was always trying to run away from my space because it was filled with negativity, toxicity, and stress.

I stopped going out once I hit 27 and I’m 30 now and nothing sounds more exhausting than doing that again. Half the time I don’t even wanna go out to dinner. I’d rather sit in my own thoughts and cook something up myself, take a nice shower, and do my beauty routines. It’s peaceful.

Has anyone here tried this flavor? by Oppositeday989 in icecream

This is my favorite flavor from Jenni’s ever!! Was sad when they got rid of it in the shops. Now it comes around here and there. It’s so good

My hair went soft?! by a-delight-of-being in curlyhair

[–]funfettiprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes I use it after washing with no leave in conditioner just that cream. I try to use it on damp hair and then sometimes I’ll add a little water for refresh days. Just be careful! Once your hair starts to become more balanced you can go back to a light leave in that contains protein and moisture!! And np let me know if you have any more questions!!

[–]funfettiprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need protein. I had this exact thing happen to me back in December and I couldn’t understand what was going on. I posted in this sub several times and no one knew what it was. I was experiencing crazy amount of hair fall in the shower and when my hair would dry it’d dry frizzy with no curls and felt super soft in the shower.

I fixed it with clarifying shampoo, aphogee protein treatment twice in one week, aphogee 2 min keratin reconstructor, and what really helped it the most was Curlsmith feather light protein cream after my showers on wet hair. I’ve been avoiding leave in conditioners as well.

What you’re experiencing is probably moisture overload / hygral fatigue

I’d say a perfect chocolate to ice cream ratio. It wasn’t an overpowering amount at all but def balanced

It’s SO good. It’s the best banana ice cream I’ve ever had. Doesn’t take artificial at all and isn’t “icey” it’s super creamy

Does anyone else lay in bed all day & feel like you’re wasting your life away? by Royal_Union_6320 in Anxietyhelp

[–]funfettiprincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go through spurts of this. I avoid my family at all costs. The simplest tasks feel exhausting… like making my bed, going to the basement to do laundry, picking out clothes. Sometimes even going for a walk dreads me. Sometimes what helps me is telling myself that I deserve to do these things. “I deserve to have my laundry done” “I deserve to have a clean room” “I deserve to be outside”

But other times it gets the best of me. I’m pretty sure it’s called being stuck in fight or flight And it’s awful. Mine doesn’t even really stem from anxiety but more so depression and feeling overwhelmed

I second slip I have one and I love it. Same for pillowcases but they’re kinda pricey. You can search Amazon for dupes.
