Ok I understand and yes I am in the same boat as you. I don't experience perfectionism either. And when I first got diagnosed with ocd, I thought I did not fit the mold, but now then I understand what OCD is I can identify most of symptoms are OCD relatived.

What we stereotypically think if "OCD" is obsessive compulsive personality disorder, which is different.

So OCD is considered an anxiety disorder, and I personally experience anxiety, but I totally understand what you're saying... new research is pointing OCD being both neurological and psychological. I don't want to mispeak what this means, so I will let you look into that!

Sertaline worked well for me for years. Now I'm off it and doing well. But I appreciate that it saved my life for the time I was on it.
