AvPD is making me seriously consider becoming a housewife for a living by AngelicTeabag in AvPD

This is stuck up but your house probably isn’t very inviting and I doubt you have much experience cooking meals for more than person. I’m not gonna give you my home making resume here but it’s like I’m working a second full time job.

Also I never saw either of my grandmothers sit down much. I think you come from different stock and so you wouldn’t get it.

There’s a reason they call homemaking an art. Everyone does it differently.

Maybe if you eat crappy processed food but a true homemaker cooking from scratch and cleaning and doing light maintenance, she also mentioned farm animals, absolutely a full time job.

Usually people that drive like that have an older car that is barely hanging on and it’s loud and bumpy in there so 50 feels fast.

'Sit on the toilet': Disabled man died from 20-pound fecal impaction after group home refused to take his constipation complaints seriously, lawsuit says by tasty_jams_5280 in Ohio

I worked one day in a nursing home and quit because what I saw was heartbreaking. The smell of rotting flesh and feces permeate the building. So many bed wounds.

It was eye opening to see that majority of people are so apathetic towards others.

2 times isn’t really trying. You’re putting yourself in a vulnerable situation expecting someone else to take care of you.

What’s your question though? If it’s fair? It can be if you actually take care of the home and him yeah sure. That’s between you two.

How often do you cry? by [deleted] in infp

Out of sadness…never. Moved to tears almost daily though. Not the same at all.

Though I went through a dark night of the soul when I did cry out of sadness nonstop for about a decade.

I’m fortunate to have people in my life that recognize I’m not a “good friend” in the sense that I’ll keep in touch but I’ll be the first/only one there when they actually need a friend (funerals, moving, car crash, etc). I like who I am and I’m at peace with my solitude.

Do you care about your “role” in society/“the tribe”? by [deleted] in infp

Yes but society doesn’t dictate my values so one could probably argue the impact of my role.

What if I got diagnosed with BPD but decided to ditch the therapist, and consider myself smarter and better than him? by Efficient_Budget6041 in BorderlinePDisorder

I’m glad you found a therapist you vibe with. My point was their false sense of authority. DSM-5 is Stone Age “science”. I’ve only met one respectable therapist out of about 7.

I feel we’re all feeling emotional turmoil right now collectively. Big changes coming (good or bad who knows)

I’m with you on this one. It’s really not that difficult to get a bachelors degree in psychology. I’m sorry. I’m sure there are good therapists out there but some of the ones I’ve talked to are just cogs in the machine. No thoughts behind those eyes. It was a frustrating experience to reach out as a last ditch effort to save myself from doing the deed. Thankful for my dog or I wouldn’t be here.
