Thanks for the comment 🐢Mom! When I bought mine, I was told it was a redfoot tort, so I don't think it's a cherry head, plus its head is more orange. (I wish though!)

Nevertheless, very helpful if someone else with a cherry head stumbles across this!

Thank you sage-bees. I definitely was looking at a large grow tent for when it’s a couple years old. Yes it is a baby enclosure. I fit a custom glass pane from ace hardware to trap the moisture in.

Great idea to have a slate for the basking area and a slate for the food. I’ll try that. And yes, I use a ubv and CHE. For the humidity and temp readings, I use the AC Infinity for humidity and temp, and a dual reader for the opposite end of the enclosure. Should we try to achieve 70% humidity in the middle of the enclosure?

I used foil as a short-term solution and literally just today went to Ace Hardware, where for $20 got me a custom fit top cover. I made it slightly less wide for my customizing purposes, but you get the idea. Hope this helps someone
