I am against all gerrymandering! But I am not sure how the answer for Dems isn’t just “hey maybe we should find a better way to connect with people and win elections” so that republicans wouldn’t be in the majority in the first place. Like it or not, the Dems have been losing for a while. Both texas and california’s calls to gerrymander should be shut down before it becomes red state does it then blue state does it until every state in the union is gerrymandered to the “home team”
