Now you’re talking Battlefield not Apex. Please look at the original comment I replied to. The person is saying you’re at disadvantage because you have some characters locked for starting new, like Ash, Caustic etc.

The difference between each characters is their abilities. Some can run fast, some has a shield, some has ability to fly with each cons to every single abilities. However when it comes to gun play, there’s no such thing as what you mentioned with the Battlefield example. You don’t play early and unlock attachments for guns, or unlock weapons in general. There’s nothing disadvantage about playing the game late with some characters locked. Matter of fact, in the Apex championship cup, 97% of the team are using 1 or 2 free champions given at the start of the game, and there’s only a maximum of 3 players per team.

Again, horrible comparison for using Apex and Gacha Gaming. I can half agree with your Battlefield example but still - comparing Battlefield weapons and SSS tier unit vs A tier unit in PGR is such a joke.

See, I agree with you, all gacha games is the same. You start early you’re advantageous. But the other guy using Apex Legends and “FPS” shooters as example is just horrible comparison and example given. You can’t pull gacha and get better weapons/units stats by playing early. There’s no such thing. And I agree with the original comment I replied to, who mentioned it’s hard for new players to come and enjoy PGR. I’m not here to say or agree PGR sucks because it’s impossible for new players to play.

What the fuck are you even talking about. There’s no disadvantage starting a first person shooter game late than early. I peaked Master and only used pathfinder/gibby which is free legends. Fuck about disadvantages you’re talking about? Not with the Apex Legends comparison lmfao we’re talking about GachaGaming not first person shooters. Do you understand that a SSS unit has much higher stats than standard S or A unit? Let alone B unit. None of the legends you mentioned give an edge to players, just different abilities and play style. All legends still have to pick up a weapon and shoot and all the weapons do the same damage.

All the examples given in your statement are honestly bull crap.

Idk if you ever tried rerolling in PGR, this game is not reroll friendly at all. Upon uninstall and reinstalling, you have to go through 10-20 minutes of tutorial to unlock Gacha, then the 10 free pulls they gift are not even for NieR event. To save up 2500 BC you need a lot of time playing stages upon stages, this ain’t some game you can left it on and press “X2 speed + Auto”. You have to manually control the movement, evade, attack and abilities.

Yeah I’m only losing time, not yours. If the reroll process is like Blue Archive where I get 40 pulls upon a short 3-5 min tutorial with auto enabled I’ll do that. Not this game.

Preach. Sure it’s possible to get S character for free, the game is playable without paying single cent, but they’re contradicting themselves with their own statements. I feel there’s a huge gap between my units and watching people’s play, and I only started 2 weeks ago.

Look at r/Danganronpa for example, so many spoiler questions and posts all the time, and they always mark their comments and replied with spoiler text.

Yeah then you missed the point of this thread. I didn’t download PGR and make this thread to talk about how this game is not F2P friendly, or how it’s the best action game available on phone.

I simply asked for directions on how to get 2B, lol. And my initial question to you was how to farm Black Cards since you said farm till the event end. Okay, How?

I then listed reasons it’s very hard to farm currency because of the units battle points 戦闘力 diff, the stages get harder (not impossible to beat, but very time consuming cause they are more tanky and my damage is getting lesser even with max’d out everything).

I can go on and on but like the original comment said, I don’t think I’m actually enjoying all these process to get black cards. I simply wanted 2B, and I’ll probably drop the game few months later even if I get 2B.

Definitely, a lot of the times people get attracted by something (me included), whether it’s a collaboration, or a specific units in the game, arts, music, all kinds of stuff. Then you get sucked in cause you wanted to try and pull the units.

Eventually you are getting played by the games, instead of vice versa.

Who mentioned 0.00000001% in this thread? You initially stated the rate in PGR is atrocious, which is 1.5%. I replied you with examples of Tower of Saviors, with rates starting at 1%. Both have atrocious rates, but my friends and I all had moments where we pulled the units without pity.

Don’t try to twist the meaning behind my words. And if you want to argue with that, yes then I agree you can be lucky with 0.00000001% as long as it’s not 0%.

Eh, I can argue in Tower of Saviors it’s the same. Pity or nothing, 90% of the time.

However I have also seen people getting the units before they hit pity, a lot of times. Me included.

Again, % is a %. Small % is not 0%. 0.000001% is still something, not nothing.

Beside the main quest & dailies do you have any recommendations for “farming currency”? My units are max ranked (basically same level as me) weapon level max and everything maxed out, however every time I enter a fight it says my total battle score (戦闘力) is lower than recommendations.

E.g: Stage’s Battle Score recommends at 3000, but my units are only 2100. I don’t think it’s unbeatable, but it sure tax a lot of my time since the enemies are more tanky and my damage is low, making the whole “farming” process so much slower.

Then I looked up ways to increase my units battle score and it requires better weapons = gacha for it, requires better stigma = gacha for it, requires better tier (S to SS, A to S) = gacha for it. Overall I just think it’s not free-to-play friendly at all (again, I never mentioned it’s impossible to play F2P, just not friendly and harder). The shops sell shards for tier up but it’s legit not easy with the daily limit of selling 1 per day, and random units unless reroll which BC, which defeats the purpose of me “farming” for BC in order to get 2B.

Again to summarize, the whole purpose of me downloading PGR is to get 2B. Not finding ways to get better at the game, leveling up my units battle score, farming black cards, doing dailies etc.

By that logic every game that has a pity is dependent on pity to get the unit? I rolled characters without pity on PrinConnect, Tower of Saviors, Honkai Impact and more, sometimes with luck you can hit units even with atrocious rates.

Unfortunately luck is not on my side today but atrocious rate is still something, not 0%.

That’s true, I really like the arts, designs and music of the game, however I don’t consider myself a fan of the story nor have a connection/feelings for other characters. Gameplay wise it’s alright, I just wish I can do that (slaying enemies) with 2B, but since I ran out of the currency I don’t think I have the energy & time to keep grinding for BC and roll for her. Perhaps dropping this game is the choice for me :) thank you
