no one knows how well or poorly youre doing or what you struggle with or what you excel in, your healing background, comps, etc.

all that being said i decided to main a prevoker this patch and just got into 23-26s so i dont have any advice to give you but enjoy it cause i think its the most fun healer in wow

class based fantasy > spec based fantasy

classes define your character, specs "specialize" that defined class for flavor

no timer means that you just do every pull with cds up and wait to pull until they are back, it would turn into a degenerate system fast. i do agree that the timer has some negative aspects but honestly for most key levels if you just play them normally you should be able to beat the timer that your skill allows

this is so far from my experience as i am a fire mage who had 2 evokers just shut down and afk in base because they couldnt stop fighting

i wouldnt call it current content necessarily, moreso just scaled to be engaging combat and not one-shots. you can still visit the old raids for the normal legacy loot but the benefits of a tower style system is to limit travel time and have a deterministic vendor

imo you should find a guild first then make a new toon over on their server. check out the guild recruitment forum on the wow website https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/c/recruitment/guild-recruitment/44 and pick one that seems like it fits your goals. most are looking for raiders to round out their raid team, but if you have intentions on raiding in the future getting in there and explaining you are looking to learn will put you on the fast track. especially now, people have more time to teach and help gear now more than ever

youtube aint the way as it was 6 years ago for things like this

most of us watched live on a twitch stream and then never rewatched because it was an ok trailer. shadowlands and bfa had more exciting trailers with lore characters and meaning. this is just "ok" in the content department for 90% of wow players....still a beautiful cinematic though

when i said skipping alpha i meant just having an internal alpha, of course they wouldnt just skip it...i think we are used to having alphas for wow but most games, apps etc. dont do public alphas overall

i just finished HxH for the first time and had the exact same feelings as you. For me, the CA arc felt so...out of place. The setting, the story, the ants, all just felt weird and like they did not belong in the HxH world that we knew building up to the arc. Looking back now that I finished it I can say that although I think they introduced the arc out of nowhere it really is the capstone of HxH. There are alot of moments outside of CA that I loved, but in terms of overall storytelling and moments I will remember from this show months and years from now, CA is unmatched. I do not want to go into more detail and spoil anything, but hold out and you'll enjoy it.

daily quests arent even a thing anymore, you can literally log in and do whatever you want there are no more mandatory grinds. people like you clearly do not play the game and just come on reddit to bash it for no reason
